I have a few setups without risers and all of them have stress cracks in them where the trucks mount. I didn't necessarily want to raise these boards, and I was also a bit skeptical of rubber, wondering if it'd make my pops and transition pushes feel even the tiniest bit softer. This wasn't the case at all. In fact, I can hardly tell they're there, and now I've got a little something to take all the stress off my decks when skating.
