- I love these wheels, dramatically faster than small street wheels Review by Jon
These are my current favorite wheels for cruising around. They are dramatically faster than small street wheels, or even big hard wheels like G Bones. Anyone who has only used small street wheels may not know what they are missing out on. They are way way faster. Also, I've found that they hold up well. I was worried that they would cone fast since they are soft, but, found that they aren't really coning at all. I had worse luck with harder wheels than these. I think it may be that these wheels are good and wide. I think the contact patch is around 40mm. I think the softness as well as the height and width of the wheels is what makes them so fast. The only downside is that you can't really slide with them. Other than that, they are great for cruising around. You can roll over cracks, rocks, etc. and basically don't even have to worry about getting stuck. They are a lot easier on your feet also when riding on rough pavement. I'm really glad I tried these. The difference is night and day compared to small hard wheels. These are way funner. If you get these, get the 63mm ones. They're the fastest. The smaller sizes aren't bad either, but, I like these the best. I'm using an 1/8" riser and 55mm high trucks that are loose and haven't had problems with wheel bite. Highly recommend these wheels.
